We have has captured stories of people and projects in Australia,Kenya, Tanzania/Zanzibar, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Nigeria, Niger,Ghana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia/Aceh and East Timor. Our work has been published and exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany and the UK.

We have a vast experience capturing human stories. Having grown up in East Germany and East Africa and living in Australia, Christoph has engaged deeply with the concept of the “Other” and his motto “There is no Other” informs his photographic approach working with people from diverse backgrounds, faiths and circumstances – sharing the commonalities of our human experiences. This approach is in fact, the reason behind Commonground.
